my questions and concerns

Activity 1.1

When I first reached the activity 1.1, this is the questions I want to ask myself. I was born in china and raised in china until I finished my high school. During the school, I realized I am interesting in biology and chemistry. However, I had no chance to put my interest into the real life. The textbook was the only source which I obtained biology and chemistry knowledge. When I just got U.S.A, I was able to work. Then, I started working. My first job was pharmacy technician. I loved it. This job relate with biology and chemistry. As a result, I stopped going to school. I thought this I my dream work.
After 2 years, I realized that I need to go back school for my further education. I am still young High school diploma is not good enough.
I think education is more important because without education we can’t reach high level income especially in medical filed.
From this activity I realize that going back to school is right choice. I made right decision. I didn’t say that people have various working experience is bad thing. I have rest of my life to work. Compare to work and school during young age, I think school is more important.

  1. I must say that this activity also helped me realize certain things about education that I was not able to recognize before. I think your blog is very informative with your experience and will help others who may not have came to a realization about their career or education. Reading your blog could help someone else open their mind towards education, careers and balancing both of them.

  3. People say, "the more you learn, the more you earn." In the U.S.A, today, about 80% of jobs require some education or technical training beyond high school.no doubt, higher education is the great value in life. a college education is not only preparation for a career; it is also preparation for life.

I like your post. are you still a pharmacy technician now? or you quicked your job? I'm strongly agreed with your main point that school is more important than your job. Fine a part time pharmacy technician job lo. good luck
